“That treasure…… bestowed on them by nature….. to be bettered in them by nurture”

Google gives a man, Mr. Richard Mulcaster, credit for generating this debate -

Nature or Nurture?

A chicken and egg question; where books have actually been written just on it's origin.

Thankfully the advance of epigenetics means we can no longer think of “nature” as genes and “nurture” as everything else. They are intrinsically woven together.

With that in mind, I believe it’s time to move on from this debate and focus our attention instead on -

 “That Treasure”

and root our parental relationship there.

The Conscious Parenting Method allows us to "Treasure" our children for who they are; while simultaneously allowing space for our own personal growth.

It is in this process of nurturing ourselves; as we parent and nurture our child, that we unlock the ability to break generational patterns.

Our children are allowed an authentic connection to their own true self and their higher purpose.

Based on the teachings of Dr. Shefali Tsabary; A New York based psychologist who uses her Indian roots to integrate East and West traditions within the parenting paradigm. A best-selling author, mindfulness teacher and world renowned speaker.

It is through mindful practice and continuous effort that we shift our attention, change our level of consciousness and thereby create  different outcomes in our parenting and in all areas of our life.

There are no triggers on the outside. All our triggers are rooted within. Together we undertake the work of healing emotional wounds thereby freeing up your cognitive prowess to problem solve.

It is my goal with Nurture Wise to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space for parents to share and make real the struggles and triumphs of parenting. By bringing light to these issues we allow space for growth and change. In ourselves first and ultimately following through to our children.
